My beautiful Wisteria

In the spring of 2005 we've planted a 'wisteria' in our back garden, because I love the flowers so much (and the smell of them!). It was the first year of the plant and it rewarded us with several purple flowers! I immediately fell in love with it and now I'm hoping it will give at least the same ammount of flowers (I'm even hoping for more!) I've placed a photo with this post so you can see what I'm talking about. I hope you will become enthousiastic about this plant and put it in your own garden and enjoy the scent (that is much stronger when the sun goes down) of the flowers.

MO1 WINS DUTCH PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST

'Your photo is a 1st price winner'. Yeah right, just another spam.
Hey wait. This time not fake!!!!!

The message entered MO1's mailbox today, for his photo for a photography contest of a leading Dutch photography site (www.dfoto.nl). The contest was 'Holland as seen by the Dutch', and had over 400 participant photographers. The text can be seen on www.dfoto.nl, the photos will follow.

Too much photography words

Just too much. Learn what the meaning is of vignetting (Less illumination at the edges of an image. Poor lens quality can be a cause, as well as using the wrong hood for the lens.), pincushion distortion (A lens aberration where parallel lines at the edge of the image area appear to bow inwards) and bokeh (see for yourself).
See the photography glossary at the Digital Photography Tutorial.

As photo enthusiasts were are very pleased to have found the Digital Photography Tutorial.
It shares a view about photography, containing some simple steps: avoiding flaws, having the composition right, and adding oddities and extremes to the photo.

The view is added with some photographic subjects: baby photography, landscape photography and aerial photography.
